Barbara Luddy was an American actress and vaudeville singer from Great Falls, Montana. From the 1950s to the 1970s, Luddy regularly worked as a voice actress for the Walt Disney Animation Studios. Her best known role was voicing the co-protagonist Lady in the animated romance film "Lady and the Tramp" (1955). Her other prominent voice roles included the heroic fairy Merryweather in "Sleeping Beauty" (1959) and the maternal kangaroo Kanga in the featurettes "Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree" (1966), "Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day" (1968), and "Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too" (1974). Archive footage of Luddy's voice was also used for Kanga in the feature film "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" (1977).
In 1908, Luddy was born in Great Falls, Montana. The city was named for its proximity to the Great Falls of the Missouri River, a series of 5 waterfalls located in north-central Montana. The city was established in 1883 by the businessman and politician Paris Gibson (1830-1920), who planned to use the waterfalls as a source for hydroelectricity. Great Falls became the first city in Montana with its own hydroelectric dam. Luddy's parents were Will and Molly Luddy.
Luddy was educated in a convent for Ursulines, a Catholic religious order dedicated to the education of girls. Luddy started performing as a singer in the vaudeville circuit during her childhood. By the late 1920s, Luddy served as an actress in a touring company with fellow vaudevillian Leo Carrillo (1880-1961). In 1929, their company toured Australia. The press in Sydney praised Luddy for "her pert audacity and vivaciousness".
During the 1930s, Luddy started regularly performing as a voice actress in radio shows. From 1936 to 1943, Luddy was part of the main cast in the anthology series "The First Nighter Program" (1930-1953). Most of the series' episodes featured romantic-comedy plots. In 1937, Luddy signed a long-term contract for her exclusive services in this series.
During World War II, Luddy was part of the main cast in the radio soap opera "Lonely Women" (1942-1943). It was one of the many soap operas created by scriptwriter Irna Phillips (1901-1973), who typically focused on depicting the complexities of modern life. Luddy voiced Judith Clark, a lovesick secretary. The cast of characters in this series was originally all-female, but male characters were among the late additions to the series.
By the 1950s, Luddy started regularly working for Disney Animation as a voice actress. By the 1960s, she started having minor roles in television. She appeared in then-popular series, such as the sitcom "Hazel" (1961-1966), and the soap opera "Days of Our Lives" (1965-).
In April 1979, Luddy died due to lung cancer. She was 70-years-old at the time of her death, dying a month before her 71st birthday. She is still fondly remembered by animation fans for her voice roles, long after her heyday. Her character of Lady became a regular supporting character in the Disney comic strip "Scamp" (1955-1988), where the eponymous protagonist was Lady's son.- Actress

Vaudevillain, Broadway player and, for one decade from 1929, screen actress often in comedic roles. She also appeared in character parts in a handful of 60s films. She is memorable as the original - and the most believable - Alice Kramden, wife of Ralph Kramden (immortalized by Jackie Gleason), in TV's "The Honeymooners." Kelton's performances took place (ca. 1950-52) when "Honeymooners" had yet to become an independent series but was merely a sporadically scheduled, 10- or 15-minute playlet during Gleason's weekly TV variety show. Although they may yet exist on kinescope only narrowly available, Kelton's wonderful performances as Alice are otherwise essentially lost. She was forced to leave the role after being blacklisted. Audrey Meadows then won the role of Alice Kramden.- Producer

Buddy Sosthand was born on 29 March 1971 in Great Falls, Montana, USA. He is an actor, known for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006), Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007).- Brunette, curvaceous Dorothy Coburn was the daughter of western actor/producer Wallace G. Coburn. Her grandfather Robert, a pioneer cattleman, had founded the famous Montana Circle C Ranch in 1886. Dorothy appeared in silent comedy shorts for Hal Roach -- often as the quintessential flapper, society lady or nurse. A feisty personality, she was ideally cast as a perennial foil for Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. Her best-known appearances with the famous duo include The Second 100 Years (1927) (where Stan inadvertently covers her bottom with white paint); Putting Pants on Philip (1927) (in which she is being chased by an over-amorous, kilt-wearing Stan Laurel around town); and as a dentist's nurse in Leave 'em Laughing (1928). A genuine trooper, Dorothy cheerfully took every indignity inflicted upon her in her stride, whether it was falling into a pit of whitewash in The Finishing Touch (1928), being pied in The Battle of the Century (1927), or covered in mud in Should Married Men Go Home? (1928).
Also an accomplished rider and a fit athlete, Dorothy (billed as 'Dottie Coburn') occasionally worked as a stunt performer in westerns, doubling for the likes of Gary Cooper and Joel McCrea. After the advent of sound, she was sometimes engaged as a stand-in for Ginger Rogers at RKO. After leaving the movie business in 1936, she found employment as a receptionist for an insurance agency. - Haila Stoddard was born on 14 November 1913 in Great Falls, Montana, USA. She was an actress, known for The Prudential Family Playhouse (1950), Coronet Blue (1967) and Suspense (1949). She was married to Whitfield Connor, Harald Bromley , Jack Kirkland and William L. Gude. Jason was born in 1977 in Great Falls, Montana to Larry and Linda Seibel. Growing up, he always had an affinity for entertaining people. He wrote his first story in the first grade and begged the teacher to let him read it in front of the class. Titled "Neil and Jason Bond and the Case of the Red Ruby" (Neil was Jason's best friend at the time,) it was a hit, and he continued to write many more.
Jason didn't become involved in acting until much later. After graduating high school in 1995, Jason married Tamara Richard and joined the U.S. Air Force. His tour in the Air Force took him around the world more than a couple of times as he served as a Security Forces Specialist.
In 2003, Jason's service brought him back to his home town of Great Falls, when he received an assignment to Malmstrom AFB. While there, Jason became heavily involved in local theater after attending an audition for a local production of the Broadway Musical "Footloose." Although he only received a small role in the musical, the next show to play at the playhouse, "Love, Sex and the I.R.S.", Jason was cast as the lead comedic role.
Several roles followed in several shows including: "Caught in the Net" and the "Rocky Horror Show." In September 2004, Jason took his first steps towards the movie industry when he acted in a short student film, "The Blackhorse Initiative", written and directed by his friend and partner, Rory Schulte. After that, the movie business was in his blood and Jason could think of little else.
In September 2005, Jason wrote a feature length script titled "Leon's Money." The first scene of that film was shot. Shortly thereafter, Jason met Stu Brumbaugh.
In December 2005, Jason separated from his wife of nearly ten years. He continued writing and acting, however, finishing three feature length scripts, one short film ("Foul Play") which was actually shot in and around Great Falls, as well as served as Assistant Director and Supporting Actor on the feature film "Iron Ridge."
Jason is still in the Air Force as of June 2007 and is getting ready to transfer to Fairchild AFB in Spokane, Washington. He continues to pursue his writing and acting ventures in hopes that someday they will pay off.- Coby Karl was born on 6 March 1983 in Great Falls, Montana, USA.
